How to Use Guide

Unbox your new REÍS Reed Diffuser.

Unscrew the glass bottle cap containing the fragrance oil.

Gently pour some of the fragrance oil into the decanter with caution so as to avoid spilling.

Pour 20ml, 50ml or a 100ml into the decanter for use in a part of your space such as the bathroom or the bedroom whilst the remainder (in the glass) can be used in another part of your space such as your living room or study.

Insert 10-12 reed sticks into the the glass and the remainder into the decanter. The more sticks you use, the more intense the scent.

Flip the reed sticks after the first 24 hours.

Sit back and relax as the reed sticks absorb the complex aroma, diffusing the fragrance throughout your space.

For a strong scent experience, flip the reed sticks daily or weekly. For a subtle scent experience, flip the reed sticks less often.

Get carried away in Africa’s wilderness, the rhythm of the earth.

R E Í S is a signature part of our debut collection. Intentionally designed with Muhuhu oil, a rather rare oil widely referred to as the African Sandalwood. Feel your innate desires come alive with this striking woody blend.

Tucked away in the luscious land of Tanzania, lies a sought-after fragrance rich in history - Muhuhu. Native to the East African Coast mountains, it takes between 10 to 30 years to fully cultivate.

The extracted Muhuhu oil is born from the bark of this bewildering tree. But what does it smell like? We liken it to the enticing woody smokiness that erupts from a cackling indoor fire. Both soothing and intimate, Muhuhu reminds us of the innate human desire to connect - with ourselves, and others.

Ethically sourced from Africa

Each ingredient is meticulously extracted and distilled by local farmers, equipped with generational experience. Your purchase of Reís directly impacts and fuels the livelihoods of 5 African family-owned businesses and tradespeople.

Our Impact-led Supply Chain

Take a peek behind the curtains of how Reís came to be.

Our journey begins with local African farmers who grow and cultivate Muhuhu trees, sandalwood, and cedarwood chips.

We work with African distillers, using steam distillation to extract essential oil from these natural ingredients.

The organic essential oils are bottled and shipped to our facility in Cape Town, South Africa for processing and quality control.

Here’s where the magic happens: Once our Chief Perfumer and her team get their hands on the rare oils, Reís’s development and blending begins.

After several rounds of meticulous testing, the final batches get approved for production.

Finally, the hand-poured fragrances become available for your enjoyment through our website, gracing homes across the UK.
